The Worship Commission of Saint Mary of the Annunciation fosters the liturgical life of its community. Our mission is to strive to create an environment of full, conscious and active participation that provides a vibrant worship experience for all, that is rooted in the Eucharist and the liturgical life of the Catholic Church.
The Art and Environment Committee creates an environment that reflects liturgical seasons on the calendar. Floral arrangements, tapestries, seasonal decor, liturgical furnishings, vessels, and vesture are used to enhance the environment for liturgical prayer.
Liturgical ministries include lectors (Ministers of the Word), altar servers, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion who serve during Mass and ushers who direct the seating and procession of the assembly.
Ministry of Praise is comprised of Eucharistic Adoration, A community of parishioners committed to fostering a solid understanding of love for the Holy Eucharist; and Rosary/Divine Mercy, A group praying the rosary after the daily mass Mondays through Thursdays.
