Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place at Mass on Saturday at 5PM and on Sunday at 9:30AM. Our young children, ages 4 through 5th grade, are sent forward, after the opening prayer, to participate in the Liturgy of the Word. The children hear scriptures proclaimed from the Children’s Lectionary, participate in an interactive homily, creed, and petitions. They return to church to join their parents for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. No sign up or registration is required. Parents are always welcome to join us.
We have a very dedicated group of adults and teens that lead each weekend and are always looking for additional volunteers. All preparation materials are provided and volunteers are scheduled according to your availability. Teens can earn service hours too. If you think you might be interested, feel free to join us one weekend to see what we do.
