On the night before He died, Jesus celebrated the Passover meal with His disciples in a new way. The meal that Jesus celebrated is the Last Supper. While Jesus and his disciples ate, Jesus took bread and blessed it. He then broke it and gave it to His disciples saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then Jesus took a cup of wine and gave thanks. He gave the cup to his disciples saying, “Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood.” At the Last Supper, Jesus told his disciples to bless and break bread in his memory. He gave us the Eucharist which is the Source and Summit of our Christian Life.

After a long wait, we are so happy to be welcoming our 2020 First Communicants to the Lord’s Table!

With social distancing guidelines in place we will not be able to have the larger group Mass this year.  Instead, we have reserved three dates for 1st Communions and families can choose which date works best with their schedule. Here are some details regarding 1st Communion this year:

  • Dates for 1st Communion Masses this year are September 5th, 12th and 19th all at 11:00 AM
  • Each Mass will be limited to the first 22 families that sign up.
  • To sign up, click the button below to link to the sign up form. You do not need a SignUpGenius account but you will be asked to provide name and contact information.
  • Families are not limited in who can attend the Mass, but we encourage everyone to keep the numbers at a minimum given current health guidelines.

Please see the Parishioner Reopening Guidelines to know what to expect during the liturgy.

We look forward to celebrating with all of you!
