The Art and Environment Committee creates an environment that reflects liturgical seasons on the calendar. They work closely with the Liturgy team to plan, decorate, and prepare the church for the different liturgical seasons of the year, especially Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter. The decoration of the church supports and enhances the liturgy experience for all parishioners.
Planning and decorating sessions are held four to six times a year on an as-needed basis. Volunteers help water, transplant, purchase plants or flowers, and set up for special liturgical events. The Art and Environment Committee also assists our sacristans and maintenance staff with some dusting polishing and general clean up of the church when needed.
